OK, so...…..Gudas gets away with an Ogie Ogilthorpe move on Glenny, who's still on the "day-to-day" as I recall, Mantha probably has a case of the asterisk & will play like a man possessed, Greiss is finally getting his due, Zadina is just awesome. The big question: Who's on D tonight???? When will we see Lindstrom come in? We need speed on the back end. FL will be jacked from losing, so expect an onslaught right form the drop, if we're slow or gloating/living on memories from games gone by, we're gonna get straight-up housed (as in "Taken to the..."). Brome' & Namestnikov are clicking, so would REALLY like to see them v (no) Hands n Frans....

This one will be close. I hate saying this, but (without seeing the lines) FL 3-2. Now IF we have a contingent of better players (see above), come out scrapping, and lay the wood to the Cats; DET 4-3...….

I don’t know. It could still change at game time. I was going to do a follow up article but games are so close together. Here are names in the trademill:

Brock Boeser
DeAngelo (of course)

No names yet, but a team like the Islanders is looking for scoring and has a nice pipeline. They sit 4th worst in the league at 2.27. Nashville, San Jose, New Jersey and NYR are all at the bottom as well. That’s IF there’s really anything going on.

I can’t imagine Detroit locking Mantha up multi year just to dish him. If this is a continuation of Blash’s discipline, it is overkill.

Not all sources are accurate this year:

In seasons past, we would frequently get tweets from the beat writers talking about what the lines were at the morning skate. We could then use those for our projected lines.

This season, we rarely get that. NHL.com has projected lines a few hours before gametime, but they were not accurate last game, unfortunately. A sincere thank you to the commenter who pointed that out.

Because of that, we are typically either using the lines from the previous game or from Daily Faceoff, with changes based on public information not reflected in those lines.

When the head coach thinks he's bigger than the team then it's time to part ways. It's clear to me that Jeff Blashill is in love with himself. He's a wannabe phony. A guy who wants all the accolades without the accomplishments.

Sitting out Mantha for one game is fine. Even though he's hardly the only player who should miss a game for bad play. But now he's going out of his way to sabotage this team. Why? To prove he's a big man? He's only proving what I've known for 6 years. Jeff Blashill is not an NHL head coach. Anthony Mantha IS an NHL player. A good one.
